Biz Markie’s Amazing Custom “Technics SL-700” Made For 45s Only!

My man DJ Sheep posted pics of the Biz with a pair of custom technics turntables made for spinning 45s exclusively.

Needless to say I, like any DJ that spins 45s out, started salivating immediately. Biz Markie is a living legend that has kept his career going with DJ gigs and TV appearances.

The always entertaining Clown Prince of Hip-Hop is known to be a collector’s collector and has made many outlandish claims that only he could live up to, such as owning a promo copy of Bob James Mardi Gras 12″ without the famous Run-DMC bells on the break, but he had no evidence to back it up.

Apparently these technics were made specifically for Biz in 2011 in Japan and the straight tonearm modification was made by JDG. These pictures just go to prove that nobody beats The Biz, take a look at these things!
