Future Classic: IshDARR “They Lost Me”

There is no denying the comeback of the early 90’s sound in music and hip hop is no exception. The 17 year old emcee from Milwaukee, IshDARR, embody’s that sound perfectly on this track. His nice delivery combined with a soulful jazzy beat brings us back to what most people call the golden era.

Good memories from the days when Boot Camp Click, Digable Planets or Souls of Mischief were on top of the food chain of underground hip hop always come back to me when I hear a youngster like him capturing part of they’re sound.

IshDARR is one of the new emcees who represent the past and the future at the same time. Let’s hope a lot more is to come… Boom bap, original rap!
