So happy to rediscover this gem for you all. The other day, I remembered that when I was working at Inbeat Records, Christian Pronovost put out this dope mix together called “Reasons to Cry” (Recorded in 2000).
As you can probably tell, this one is for the broken hearts… but frankly, I can listen to that “you done me wrong” soul stuff any day and any moment of the week. Big!!! Dionne Warwick, Jill Scott, Minnie Riperton, Aretha Franklin, Lou Reed, Herbie Hancock and so much more…
