This is a not a regular podcast so don’t be freaked out if this isn’t your cup of tea. I had to put this mix together because i’m a big lover of most things UK (to me its hands down the best music scene in the world). The main reason though is that when I started Dj-ing almost 10 years ago now, I was mostly known as a UK Garage & 2step DJ. God knows that back then I had to explain time and time again what the hell 2step and UKG is… “well, hmmm… its kind of faster than house, slower than Drum & Bass, with heavy bass lines, shuffly beats and sometimes cheesy R&B vocal”… confusing huh.
Anyways, this is a little tribute mix to the UK Garage family tree: Dubstep, Grime, Speed Garage, Bassline, Uk Garage, 2Step. (Shout out to my original UKG compadres, Senyo, Dr.Love & A-Rock)
