Exclusive Premiere: Igor Jadranin “Contemporary Outdoors”

Following the anthem “Heavy in Stereo”, longtime MIMS-favorite and synths wizard extraordinaire Igor Jadranin returns on Chicago’s Star Creature with “Contemporary Outdoors”.

And as you can tell from the title above, we were lucky enough to secure the title track for (y)our listening pleasure. Kicking off with a jazz vocal sample and slowly introducing a variety of synths, drum machines, chord progressions, and riffs, “Contemporary Outdoors” showcases the full breadth of his creative arsenal.

The EP features a couple of remixes not to be slept on, courtesy of Byron the Aquarius and A Vision of Panorama. It also includes two original cuts and the aforementioned “Heavy in Stereo” for those who missed the 7” the first time around.

The release is already getting heavy spins from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Gilles Peterson, James Holroyd (Chemical Brothers), DJ Deep, Lefto, and Moxy, solidifying Jadranin’s reputation for boundary-pushing artistry.
