I am working on a strictly beats mixtape for a radio show right now and although I really love that stuff, I find it’s really one of the genres that has the most really generic and forgettable stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I love that abstract space age hip-hop meets electronic synths but there is just soooo much of it out there.
Well, that’s what we’re here for. We listen to hundreds of releases and pass along those we feel are worth your time. I knew a little bit about MonoPoly but my at my last show with Teebs & Samiyam, Teebs told me to keep a serious eye out on his first EP for the Brainfeeder stable. Well, let me tell you one thing. The Manifestations EP is worth your time!
