Exclusive Premiere: SZAJNA “Pavement Groove” Ft Yemi Bolatiwa
via Dance Regular: From the forthcoming Stepping Hill EP is Pavement groove, a proper soulful 2 Step roller featuring London born, Manchester based Yemi Bolatiwa, a talented vocalist and songwriter who is a leading light of the Manchester music scene.
Working with orchestras, bands and DJs in a range of different genres, a versatile performer as her recent single, ‘Water’, showed. On Szajna’s ‘Pavement Groove’ Yemi’s soulful vocals talk about feeling like you need space as it flow’s in and out of the 2 step rhythm and jazzy chords with Szajna’s low end sub basses laying foundations to the groove.

Szajna (Shy-Na) is a Manchester-based DJ and music producer who has been holding multiple DJ residencies across MCR for over 12 years now.
His productions got him noticed outside of the Manchester scene gaining popularity amongst the London bruk movement. This led to him being officially invited into the Selectors Assemble crew by legendary Broken Beat pioneer, IG Culture. Since then he has had multiple releases on labels; CoOp Presents, Dance Regular, Phuture Shock Music & Eclectic Beats.
