Forgotten Treasure: Mel Tormé “Comin Home Baby” (1962)

I don’t use the word SWAG very often but if I did, I would use it 15 times in this post.

Considering this song was recorded about 50 years ago, i’m just amazed at how much attitude it has. It just brings you back to the early 60’s in the US. You know, death races, greasy hair, and hmmm… whatever they had back then. I’m not that familiar with Mel Tormé extensive catalog but this track has been on regular rotation for me these past years.

+ the guys’ nickname is The Velvet Fog. How gangster is that??!

I had to post this because TMobile has used this song in a recent ad, but with Michael Bubblé doing a cover of the track… Weak Sauce. This is that real real SWAG right here.
