3 Steps To: Palms Trax
For those that don’t him already, we wanted to give an introduction to the London-born, Berlin-based producer and DJ Palms Trax with a selection of three of his best moments.
Palms Trax saw his first release back in 2013 on popular club label Lobster Theremin, and now is a staple at Dekmantel both performing at the festival and releasing music through their label. His sets are known for being fun and perfect for a sunny Summer day, staying in the lane of House and referencing a lot of Balearic and Tropical diaspora. Along with steadily releasing originals and remixes as well as touring worldwide as a DJ, Palm Trax hosts a monthly radio show called “Cooking with Palms Trax” which has been broadcasted on Berlin Community Radio since 2015. All in all the man maintains a constant and busy work schedule!
Step 1
Palms Trax holds down the A Side of Secretsundaze’s “Dance 2017 Pt. 3” twelve-inch with ‘Outflight’, an uplifting jam that’s perfect for hanging out close to a body of water!
Step 2
This performance at Dekmantel São Paulo is truly one of the best snapshots at Palms Trax as a whole. It really manages to capture his musical range and what he’s all about, along with being in a beautiful setting.
Step 3
Hitting a bit harder than usual here (possibly due to the Rinse atmosphere), Palms Trax steps in for an hour’s worth of club-ready jammers for the 2017 Rinse FM Dekmantel Takeover. Really something to get you up and dancing!
