Didn’t have time to do the Weekly Favourites picks last week so I’m going to include a few of the ones I missed into this week’s selection.
Another great week of releases of all kinds, from reissues to compilations to that hot new ish! Some for home listening, some for the dance floor.
Enjoy. Support artists & labels!
Usually, the word trap in the description of a record is a guaranteed turn off for me. But there’s always been something about Sango’s work that makes him an exception. The 3rd edition of his “Da Rosinha” (Baile Funk + Beats) series is as good as ever.

Two new singles from Anderson Paak are out.
Coming out very soon on Eglo Records, two of London’s brightest young talents have teamed up and we can’t wait to hear the whole release! For now, feast your ears on WU15’s “The Anthem”
The full record from jazz impresario Sean Khan is only coming out on November 27th on Far Out Records but while we wait for it, three great remixes are available: Henry Wu, Ben Haucke and the legends 4Hero!

Kode 9’s first solo record is here. The first since the tragic passing of his acolyte, The Spaceape. Don’t expect a lot of club bangers, “Nothing” is definitely a mentally challenging record (I mean that in a good way).

It was released last week but in case you missed it. “Texture Like Sun” is a fantastic 19 track album from one of London’s most original and exciting producers. Mo Kolours has been one of our favorites for the past few years.

We had the pleasure of premiering a track from the great new EP from Phil Gerus on Bastard Jazz. The 4 track boogie/funk/soul will be released on November 13th. Don’t sleep on it!

And then of course, this week marked the return of Missy Elliott from a 7 year hibernation. An absolute club banger accompanied by a great video.
