Forgotten Treasures: Romanthony “The Wanderer” (1993)

Romanthony has always been one of my favorite old school house artists, very original and instantly recognizable on any track. He is known for mid-90’s classics like “Let me show you love” and “Bring U Up” but my personal favorite by far has always been “The Wanderer”.

I have a white label copy of the ’94 release on Prescription and it is one of my most cherished records. “The Wanderer” is the kind of track that might have happened if Prince did a session with Frankie Knuckles or Larry Levan.

We were very sad to hear the news of Romanthony’s passing a few days ago. Big loss for the music world. Our heart goes out to his family and loved ones.
