Forgotten Treasure: Victor “Go On Do It” (1984)

I am sharing this one especially for our friend and MIMS collaborator Doc’trin. He’s really quite the disco aficionado and heard me play it in a club and went bananas asking about it. In fact, now that I think about it, this track was featured on the monthly MIMS Show back in 2007. MIMS #03!

So getting back to the track which always catches peoples’ attention on the floor. This one really always made me want to become an Italo-Disco expert but sadly I never did. A really funked-out beats 1984 production from Alexander Robotnick (Maurizio Dami), sexy Italian girl background vocals, and an insane rap from Robotnick’s friend from Chicago, Victor Beard. And an absolutely horrific record cover to go along with it.
