Some Quebec City heat for you all. Accrophone are a duo that have been putting out tracks for about 5-6 years now and if you ask me they are now fully coming to their own. Claude Bégin and E-Man are also vital members of the Alaclair Ensemble collective (with Kenlo, Maybe Watson and Ogden) and were also previously involved in the Movezerbe project.
Since JayDee’s 2006 classic “Donuts” the whole Beat Tape concept has been done and re-done in the past few years but hey… when the music is tight I’m not gonna complain! This is some seriously dope stuff. Highly recommended. Buy on Itunes
Peep the dope track featuring the Lalo Schifrin sample (also used for Portishead’s “Sour Times”)!
