Future Classic: Lost Midas “Love Undone” feat. Taylor O’Donnell

Sometimes a song just hits you right away. You go from intrigued to captivated after 30 sec and you know the track will be in heavy rotation for days to come. Tru Thoughts (home of Quantic and countless other amazing artists) have just signed electronic producer Lost Midas and released this hypnotizing video off of his upcoming Memory Flux and I was hooked on first listen!

We asked Lost Midas how he got his name:

@LostMidas: “I used to play drums in a cover band back in Boston. One evening, some drunkard requested we play something by Paul Simon. Our lead singer, for whatever reason (Guinness, the likely culprit), misinterpreted the request and said back through the microphone, “Who the hell is Lost Midas.”

The rest of us in the band, who had properly heard the drunkard, started laughing hysterically. From then on it became kind of an inside joke, and I eventually took it on as my moniker.”
