For better or worse 2013 has seen a sudden resurgence of the early 90’s Deep House sound. For better because a new generation had the chance to discover that crucial moment in House music history. For worse because a lots of producers simply make tracks sampling or just plain looping old Kerri Chandler, Wayne Gardiner or Masters At Work tracks.

Meet The Old Writer aka Jacy Bozzi. This goes out totally against the grain. Produced, composed and played from scratch, this is 100% original sweetness made with passion and with a total understanding of where this music comes from.
Taken of the “Nocturnal Image EP” on Home of House Records, “Reflection” is a late night beauty very reminiscent of the early 90’s deep Italo House movement.

Matter of fact, this is as good as many essential releases on seminal Italian labels such as Calypso, Antima, Vibraphone or Heatbeat (amongst others). “Reflection” is a very delicate affair with a strong song composition structure. This definitely stands out of the generic duplicates tracks that appears all over to my hears!
