Just got the very sad news. Gil Scott-Heron one of the most influential artists of his generation has passed away. I am extremely thankful to have seen him live at least once. I just can’t believe it was only 12 months ago… very sad news indeed.

I saw him live last week… was great!
i was in absolute shock when i heard the news this morning. 62 is too young to go *sigh*. rip gil scott-heron =( must feel kinda eerie knowing u`ve seen him perform just a week ago…
