Mini-Documentary: 24 Hours of Vinyl – San Francisco Edition
Created by Music Is My Sanctuary
Video produced by This Is Herd
in Collaboration with Mixcloud, 101 Apparel & Synergize Live
The mini-documentary chronicles the 11th edition of the 24 HOURS OF VINYL event which took part in San Francisco in the autumn of 2015.
24 Hours of Vinyl is a day long non-profit event where amazing DJ’s relay each other playing only vinyl records. The event, created in 2011 by the good folks at Music Is My Sanctuary, moves from city to city and is also broadcast online. A daylong homage to the musical format that simply does not want to die: Vinyl records have outlasted 8-track tapes, cassettes, CDs and are still putting up a good fight against MP3’s.

“I’ve been pro a DJ for going on 20 years”. -Mike Bee, soundcloud.
Impressive! “A Pro”! Very subtle Mike.
Just because you’ve been sitting on your massive ass in SF for so long means nothing. Talent is talent, good taste is good taste; whether you’re from middle America, SF, NY, Berlin…
If I were were looking to haze some techy looking piece of shit on the street, I could easily mistake you for one.
As for the rest of the video, big fan.
