This is Pablo Queu’s second official EP, featuring original beats that combine soul and electronic elements, among with jazz, hiphop and blues guitar.
The Soul Chapter EP is beautifully cooled out. While still maintaining a tasteful flavour of a bedroom recording, it is able to reach down and pull on a good stock of heartstrings. Some dusty vinyl hiss gives a sense of a crisp morning waking up close to a beach, ocean breeze cool and waves playful.
“Move On” sounds like Pablo is sitting next to you, serenading you with his guitar in hand and laptop close by. “Rising” offers some good sample chops with neo-soul horns reminiscent of a Dwele track. “Nylon” includes ethereal arpeggios and synth pops possibly nodding to the likes of Taylor McFerrin. All in all the EP serves as a perfect summer sound. Stay on the lookout!
Pablo Queu is supported by Ninetofive Records.

You are right about «move on» and also the waves and the beach.
