Forgotten Treasure: Carl Carlton “She’s a bad mama jama” (1981)

Carl Carlton is not to be confused with Carl Carlson who is Lenny’s ambiguous best friend in the Simpsons.

This track is one of my favorite 80’s boogie tracks ever, even if it isn’t the most obscure. It makes me want to be able to dance like the original lockers, even if I can’t. Next time to see this record in a dollar bin, pick it up!
